POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a house in Up Somborne was burgled and several high-value items taken.
Between 11am and 9.15pm on Saturday, November 26, offenders smashed a ground floor window to gain access to the house.
Electrical items were stolen as well as jewellery.
The haul included an Apple iMac computer, a Sony 32ins flatscreen TV, a Wii console and a gold bracelet watch.
PC Steve Jakes said: “This is a very rural area so someone may have noticed something suspicious on Saturday.
“I would like to take this opportunity to remind people to keep their property secure and to be vigilant and to report anything unusual.”
Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Jakes at Andover police station on 101 or via the website www.hampshire.police.uk/internet/contact/message_officer.htm You can also call the charity Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where information can be left anonymously.
