THESE are the first lambs of the new season to be born at Sparsholt College.
It comes as the college springs open its gates for its annual lambing event this weekend.
Thousands are expected to flock to the site near Winchester to see and learn about the newborn lambs. There will also be a chance to see some shepherding, the college's dairy and some farm machinery. Activities include a quiz, horse grooming and tractor rides.
Admission to the event, which is now in its sixth year, costs £4 for adults, £2.50 for children. Pregnant women are advised not to attend.
