POLICE say they are conducting high visibility patrols in a Hampshire area to help prevent burglary.
They say there has been four incidents of burglary in villages west and south of Winchester since November of last year.
These include entry gained to a property in Coles Mede,equipment stolen from a shed in Sarum Road,tools stolen from a building site on Otterbourne Hill, and most recent incident in January was at Hursley Post Office where thieves stole tobacco.
Anyone who has seen anything suspicious is reminded to call police on 101.
