Special service for gold-standard Scouts

SIX boys from the 9th Winchester (Colden Common) Scout Group have achieved their Chief Scout Gold Award.
In a special service in Holy Trinity Church, Colden Common, they received their award from Winchester Scout District Commissioner, Stephen Parker.
The boys completed several scout badge challenges which included a New Forest expedition and learning about overseas scouting.
At the same event, a presentation of Scout Wood Beads was made to one of the group’s Cub Leaders, Kelly Kenneavy, as an award for the completion of her leader training.
