Youngsters host VE-style party

Youngsters at John Keble CE Primary School in Hursley held a VE-style tea party for villagers as part of their project on World War II
SONGS and cakes featured at a VE-style party at John Keble CE Primary School at Hursley.
It was held earlier this month (December) to coincide with a project on the Second World War.
Special guests included some senior citizens from Hursley, including some who could remember the original celebrations.
The sing-a-long included such numbers Pack up Your Troubles along with Run Rabbit Run.
Along with playing instruments, the pupils also served tea and cakes and spoke to the visitors about their memories.
