CRIME has gone down in five Hampshire villages close to Winchester.
PCSO Rhys Griffiths told residents at the Compton and Shawford Annual Parish meeting that crime had gone down in Compton, Otterbourne, Pitt, Hursley and Shawford.
There had been 551 reported incidents in the year between 1 April 2016 – 1 April 2017, compared to 730 in the previous year.
