Compton and Shawford singers set to perform at Winchester Cathedral
COMPTON and Shawford’s Ashton Singers will be accompanied by the Rose Consort of Viols group for a special performance at the Cathedral on Saturday, March 28, from 7.30pm.
The main piece, Buxtehude’s Membra Jesu nostril, will be followed by works from Schein and Scheidt as well as Monteverdi and Kuhnau.
Proceeds raised will be given to the Friends of Winchester Cathedral Window Appeal.
