PLANS have been approved for a new house close to a historic cottage in Curdridge.
Ten local households objected with the nearest property, the Old Forge, saying it would dominate their homes and block daylight.
Rozie Haines, speaking on behalf of Christopher Danner, owner of the Old Forge, said: βIt will completely dominate the front room of the Old Forge and cause a significant loss of daylight.β
Curdridge Parish Council said in principle it had no objection to the scheme in Outlands Lane.
City councillors on the planning committee unanimously approved the plan for the side garden of 6 Kitnocks Farm Cottage in Outlands Lane, proposed by Mr and Mrs Gamblin.
