A COMMUNITY defibrillator has been installed at Durley Village Hall.
The parish council has fitted the machine, used to treat life-threatening heart incidents, for emergency use by residents.
Around 40 villagers were given training by Stephen Cartwright from South Central Ambulance Service to give boost their confidence in using the equipment.
The defibrillator was paid for by a parishioner in memory of her son, who died after a sudden cardiac arrest.
