RESIDENTS are being urged to take care when dropping off and collecting their children at Owslebury Primary School.
Problem-parkers are an increasing problem, say the parish council, particularly for larger coaches who are unable to turn into the junction.
Parish council clerk, Michael Cleary, said: “The consequence is that the school coaches are having real difficult in reversing into the school to collect children. In addition the verges outside homes in Beech Grove are damaged, not only by coaches, but by tractors and vans trying to get past parked cars.
“Whilst the police will endeavour to deal with illegal parking, the school and council would particularly like cooperation from parents and residents on those relatively few days when school coaches are involved.”
