A FUNDRAISING project has led to a new communal rocking horse for Twyford children.
Twyford St Mary’s Parent Teacher Association and Twyford Parish Council have drafted in numerous contractors, including Shearwood Steel Fabrications in Lee-on-Solent and Romsey Steelwork and Cladding, to renovate Neddy who will be housed in the village’s newly opened playtrail.
The horse has been given new bearings as well as a lick of paint from long-serving volunteer David Eaton.
The site was designed to provide key stage 2 children with a range of activities outside the school gate at Ballard Close.
