Wickham station set for parking expansion
ALMOST 40 new car parking spaces are set to be built in Wickham.
Capacity in Wickham Station car park, Station Close, will more than double from 26 to 64 spaces.
Winchester City planners approved the plans last week after extensive environmental research.
The car park is on the edge of woodland in the Wickham conservation area but ecologists said the small extension would not threaten roosting bats or dormice.
