OWSLEBURY Parish Council is urging residents to take care of their footpaths in a bid to improve its countryside.
Landowners have been reminded to keep rights of way clear of obstacles such as fallen trees and overgrown vegetation.
Parish clerk, Michael Cleary, said: “We all need to keep it that way and the council would appreciate your help and support.
“All users are expected to keep to the public paths and bridleways and to ensure their dogs are under control.”
Hampshire County Council will be carrying out a survey of paths in the area as part of the review of the Hampshire Countryside Access Plan.
Villagers are invited to complete an online survey to voice their views on access points.
The survey can be found by visiting hants.gov.uk/countryside/access-plans.
