COLDEN Common Bowling Club has celebrated its most recent finals day victory.
The club was presented with new bowl mats, used in every game, by Vivien Hearn, principal of Hearn Wealth Management – a partner of St James’s Place.
She also agreed to sponsor the general running costs of the club over the next two years.
Club president, Barry Pitman said: “Our club is blossoming. Both of our teams in the Southampton and District leagues nearly gain promotion but lost in the end by just one point and one-and-half points. Next year the other clubs should be prepared.”
