Colden Common church to host special returning to school service
A CHURCH in Colden Common is set to host a special service to celebrate children’s return to school.
Holy Trinity Church, in Main Road, will be holding their ‘returning to school’ service on August 31, at 6.30pm.
Parish administrator, Elaine Izard, said: “We appreciate that starting school, moving to a new school, changing teachers and the like can be an anxious time for parents, even if the children seem to take it all in their stride.
The service of songs, readings and prayers will last about half an hour and everyone is welcome to join us; predominantly for adults, children will also be very welcome.”
Refreshments will be served after the service.
