COLDEN Common Primary School is set to host its annual summer fayre this weekend.

On Saturday (June 21), between 11am-2pm, the school will open its gates to the School Sing Song Summer Fayre and has invited the whole community to come and take part in the Big Sing.

To prepare for the big day children held a singing rehearsal on Wednesday (June 11).

A vintage bus will be running pick-ups from 10.30am-11am and drop-offs from 2pm-2.30pm. A suggested contribution is £1 per family and children must be accompanied by an adult. A copy of the route can be found by visiting the Parish Events site at coldencommon.hants.gov.uk.

There will be a bouncy castle, an eco greenhouse, a lego robotics workshop, a bottle tombola, bowls, crazy golf, hobby horse races, penalty shootout and splat-the-rate, to name but a few.

The Bing Sing kicks-off at 11.15am and will include songs such as Three Little Birds, California Dreaming, Lean on Me and We are the Champions.

There will be plenty of refreshments available throughout the day including cakes, coffees, ice pops and a pasty parlour.
