TWO talks are being held in Hampshire to promote technology designed to improve water quality.

It aims to provide drinking supplies that taste as good as mineral water, but come straight out of the taps.

The technology was developed in Austria by Johann Grander and is being marketed locally by Jeremy Jones.

The Alresford-based businessman is trying to spread the word about the process.

It is based on the notion that water fed through pipes under pressure does not arrive in top condition.

The Grander technology aims to ‘revive’ it to its natural state, similar to supplies from a fresh mountain spring.

Mr Jones is holding two free sessions to explain the process to firms and householders who might be interested.

The first takes place on Wednesday, November 16 at 7pm and will last for two hours.

It will be held at Hinton House in Hinton House Drive, Kings Worthy.

There will be a further talk on Wednesday, December 14 at 7pm in The Studio at 26 The Dean, Alresford.

The venue’s maximum capacity is 30 and visitors are advised to bring a cushion for their seat.

On both occasions, those taking part need to bring half a litre of tap water in a sealed bottle with their name on it to the event.
