KINGS Worthy Parish Council organised a successful litter pick at their headquarters.
More than 30 volunteers turned up at the Kings Worthy Community Centre at Tubbs Hall on Saturday, October 2 to collect rubbish from the area.
Parishioners aged between three and 83 helped to collect 20 bags of litter, which was much less than the litter pick in spring.
The parish council organise two litter picks a year in support of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, with the next effort scheduled for spring 2011.
