RESIDENTS in Kings Worthy heard how plans for 50 homes are progressing.
The parish council chairman, Cllr Stewart Newell, said at the annual general meeting that civic chiefs received 57 comments for the village’s section of Local Plan Part Two.
He said in November it will be sent to the government inspector and should be adopted in July 2016.
Last year the parish council voted to support building off Lovedon Lane and developer HAB Housing is expected to submit its planning application in the coming weeks.
