Littleton pub welcomes new land lady
THE Running Horse pub in Littleton has a new landlady.
Anita Peel took over around a month ago from her previous role at the Pilgrim Inn, in Marchwood, Southampton.
She said: “It has been brilliant. I live in Winchester and have done for 20 years so I knew of the Running Horse and I think what Upham Brewery has done with it is great.”
It was taken over by the brewery around two years ago, and restored to a country style pub.
Ms Peel also previously worked as deputy manager of the Wykeham Arms in Winchester, from 2009 until 2012.
