WORK on a church room in Littleton could start in April, a fundraising organiser has said.
Carol Ward, who has worked tirelessly over the past year to raise money for the church room appeal, said that it is hoped that the extension and refurbishment will start soon.
The fundraising continues though and it is expected that by the end of January the organisers will know how much is left to raise.
The appeal needs £130,000 to revamp the St Catherine’s Church Room.
On Saturday, February 28, there will be a concert by the Winchester Fusion Choir at the Littleton Millennium Memorial Hall.
It starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £7.50, including a glass of wine and nibbles during the interval.
