Organisers of the Worthys Festival in 2012
THE Worthys Festival organisers are celebrating following confirmation from two major sponsors that will continue to support it.
It was announced at the recent annual meeting and launch party for the 2015 festival, which runs from September 19-27.
Bacardi Brown-Forman has agreed to support the fireworks and Southern Electric Power Distribution the marquee.
City councillor Jane Rutter, festival steering group chair, said the group is “delighted”.
New for next year is a flower and produce show with more than 20 categories, including youngsters and the best animal made from fruit and vegetables.
