THE Worthys Local History Group has been busy collating its annual publication.
‘Worthy History No. 18’ was published this month, and includes stories of the servicemen named on the village World War One memorials.
It also details the history of the Kings Worthy Post Offices, mill and village shop, Burntwood Farm workers, Laundry Cottage and Kent’s Cottage.
It costs £3, or £2.50 for members, and can be bought from history group meetings, or Kings Worthy Post Offices.
