A WINCHESTER farm shop said it has received support from residents after a burglary last week.

The front door was smashed and a safe ripped from the floor and stolen at The Good Life Farm Shop and Cafe, in Headbourne Worthy.

It happened between 8.20pm on Thursday, September 18, and 7.23am on September 19.

It is believed a trolley was used to move the safe into the car park.

Katie Westwood, marketing coordinator at the Springvale Road store, said it was closed on Friday morning.

She said: “We have had a lot of support and kind words from our customers. We are dealing with it and moving forward. It wasn’t nice and makes you feel a little bit vulnerable.”
