Hundreds expected at village show this weekend
A TRADITIONAL English village show will see hundreds flock to Littleton this weekend.
The annual event, organised by the Littleton and Harestock Show Society, includes The Band of The Rifles, shooting range, climbing wall, ferret racing, coconut shy, circus whizz, archery, Zumba dancing and various other stalls. Villagers have been busy preparing their entries for the Flower Show, from fruit and vegetables to art, photos and cakes.
The show starts at 1pm on Saturday, September 6, at Littleton Recreation Ground.
The craft tent opens at 1.30pm and the show marquee at 2pm.
Those living in Harestock and Weeke will have access to a free lift on a King Alfred bus.
