TWO elderly motorists were taken to hospital after their car overturned in Kings Worthy.

A man and a woman, both in their 90s, had to be cut out of the upside-down car after a collision in London Road.

Two ambulance crews and an air ambulance helicopter attended the scene at around 11am on Sunday (August 31).

A South Central Ambulance Service spokesman said the pair were treated for “non-life-threatening injuries” before being taken to Southampton General Hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
