POLICE are urging residents to secure their homes after a break-in near Winchester.
Thieves took a small amount of cash and a bank card from an insecure home in School Lane, in Kings Worthy.
It happened between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Monday, August 4.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: “The victim was in the garden at the time of the incident and we would urge people to ensure their doors and windows are secure at all times to prevent opportunistic thieves from gaining entry.”
