KINGS Worthy is soon to give Wacky Races a run for its money!

A charity that helps people in troubled or desperate circumstances in the UK and Mongolia is holding their own wacky go-kart races on June 29.

It will be held on Race Hill, in Meadow Farm Field, opposite the King Charles Pub in Springvale Road.

Racers are encouraged to build their own non-powered go-kart, and races will run from 2pm until 4.30pm with trophy presentations at 5.30pm at the King Charles.

Over 15 medals will be up for grabs, including prizes for fastest time of the day, best technical design, sportsmanship and wackiest creation, amongst others.

It costs £3 per driver to enter, and £1 per race per person.
