WATER-loving Winchester children have been making waves to raise money for a charity hospice.
Five-year-old Sienna Brooks, of Bar End, Katherine Marsden and eight of their friends took part in an under 5s sponsored swim to raise money for Naomi House.
Sienna’s mum, Stephanie, said: “There was a mix of girls and boys that took part in the event and had to swim at least one pool length.
“The pool facilities were kindly provided free of charge by Norton Park Hotel, who also provided tea for the children. Most children had not swam more than a width, so it was quite a challenge for most of them.”
At the latest count over £600 has been raised so far.
