A SENIOR citizen was left in a critical condition after a road accident on the A32 at Droxford.
The 79-year-old woman from Wickham was the front seat passenger in a red Rover which collided with a Volvo V40.
The Rover driver, a 75-year-old man from Wickham, sustained serious injuries in the crash.
Both were taken to the Queen Alexandra in Portsmouth for treatment.
The driver of the Volvo, and 18-year-old from Soberton, was not injured in the crash.
The collision occurred just before 6pm on Friday (December 9). Police closed the A32 for several hours to investigate the scene and remove the damaged cars.
