THREE men have been arrested after police uncovered a cannabis factory in Shedfield.
Ten cannabis plants and some herbal cannabis were seized in the raid on a property in Healthlands after neighbours raised the alarm.
The men, aged 52, 49 and 30, were arrested and bailed until April 13, pending a police investigation.
PC Paul Symonds, of Winchester Police said: "This is another example of the police taking pro-active action against the production and supply of drugs, which is a blight on our community.
"We were made aware of this factory due to local residents contacting the police, complaining about the smell coming from the address.
"We will continue to act robustly on any information about the production and supply of drugs in Winchester - no matter how big or small - to ensure that our community is kept safe and free of drugs and the resultant crime that goes with them."
Anyone with information about drugs production and supply should contact 0845 045 45 45 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
