A HAMPSHIRE pensioner has been banned from the road for failing to give a specimen of breath to the police.
Roger Holt, 75, admitted the offence which happened on August 6 at Basingstoke, the town magistrates court was told.
Holt, of Stoke Road, St Mary Bourne, was disqualified for 16 months, fined £80, with a £30 victim surcharge and £25 costs.
The ban will be reduced by 16 weeks if he completes an approved course by July 15 2018.
