A RELIGIOUS community in Colden Common is calling for more to be done to improve facilities at their local church.
Holy Trinity Church, which is a protected site for nature conservation, sits on Main Road but is in need of repairs.
It is hoped by refurbishing the tired-looking west end, the listed building will be better suited to accommodate more worshippers, their families and friends, to grow its community.
Three design options will go on show in the church for the proposed works on August 4, from 9am-6pm, and will also be displayed on the parish council noticeboard outside the community centre on St Vigor Way.
The Parish Hall Trust has already agreed a grant of £15,000 and other donations have seen an additional £5,000 raised.
