Medieval 'flowers' made of sugar to decorate Agincourt celebrations
A GARDENING show in Bishop's Waltham will take on a medieval - and sugary - flavour as a flower arranger marks the anniversary of the Battle of Agincourt.
The town gardening club's 59th annual show this weekend will include a display of 15th century plant and flower replicas made from sugar paste.
It is the result of more than 1,000 hours work by the students of Lyn Pearce, who teaches how to create the plants.
The show takes place on Saturday from 2pm to 4pm in Jubilee Hall, Little Shore Lane.
As previously reported, Bishop's Waltham Palace ruins will be given over this weekend to the major Road to Agincourt festival.
