Warning about illegal metal detecting near Winchester
RESIDENTS have been asked to keep a look-out for illegal metal detecting in Sparsholt.
Several holes were dug in a field, to the west of the village overnight between March 15-16.
It is not yet known if any items were stolen during the event which is known as ‘night hawking’.
Anyone with information is urged to call the police on 101.
