THE owner of a tractor stolen in Hursley last weekend has issued a £1,000 reward.

Police are on the hunt for thieves who stole the blue Iseki 2160 tractor after they used bolt cutters to cut open the locked gate in Main Road.

It is thought the family were at their home at the time of the incident which happened sometime between 6pm on Saturday and 8am on Sunday.

The three cylinder diesel tractor is quite old, has a hydraulic front loader and a towing hitch attachment. There are also two small spotlights on the frame above the radiator grille.

The owner has been advised by police this was a professional job and the tractor was targeted for export.

Anyone who has seen vehicles going in or out of the Hursley Estate field gate, at the Romsey-side of the property, is urged to contact PC Simon Langford of the Hampshire Constabulary by calling 101.

Alternatively please call the owner on 07973 343727.
