Colden Common residents urged to use recycling centre to avoid fly-tipping
RESIDENTS in Colden Common are being urged to use the village’s recycling centre more efficiently.
Parish councillors have warned people against using the area, located in the community centre car park, to dump household waste.
They wish to avoid it becoming a fly-tipping zone.
If the bins are full villagers are asked to call 01962 840222 and speak to a member of the Winchester City Council environment health team who will arrange for the bins to be emptied.
Household waste recycling areas can be found in Woodside Avenue, Eastleigh, Bar End Industrial Estate in Winchester and Knowle Lane in Fair Oak.
