THE organisers behind the Worthys Festival are urging locals to start preparing their entries for the Garden Produce Show.
It is new to the festival and will include 20 classes for everything from fruit, vegetables and flowers, to jams, chutneys and a children’s section.
Class winners will receive medals and there is a cup for Best in Show.
The steering group is also planning to have ‘clusters’ of open gardens, with at least one offering teas. It is looking for suggestions of gardens, large or small, which have elements to inspire others.
