Flooding in the village earlier this year
KINGS Worthy Parish Council is celebrating after a fourth volunteer has signed up to the flood action scheme.
The council is in the process of creating a list of ‘go-to’ people in the event of flooding.
A spokesperson said: “We are very impressed. It’s nice to see people happy to get involved.”
The volunteers would help in times of crisis, delivering sand bags and helping elderly people with errands.
