A HAMPSHIRE butcher has proven he is a cut above the rest by taking home a prestigious industry award.
Nick Harriott, who owns Harriotts Butchers in West Meon, is celebrating after he won the Butcher of the Year at the Hampshire Life Food and Drink awards.
Nick believes customers still value the quality of meat local butchers sell, as well as the advice they can give to customers about how to prepare their meals.
He said: “We are committed to providing our customers with a wide range of local product and we are delighted that our efforts and experience have been recognised with such a prestigious honour.”
