POLICE are appealing for information after three ‘rare’ burglaries at stables in Shedfield.
Thieves took horse kit, wheelbarrows, batteries, fence energizers, a solar panel and a microwave from three separate stables in Black Horse Lane.
It happened between 4.30pm on Sunday, November 30, and 11.15am on Monday, December 1.
A Hampshire police spokesperson said the offenders gained entry by breaking padlocks.
“Crimes of this type are rare in Shedfield and the investigation so far suggests that the offenders knew exactly what they wanted and where to get it,” they said.
Officers are urging people to ensure that out-buildings are locked and secure, that security lights are fitted and to mark all property for future recovery.
Anyone with information should call police on 101, or the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555111, where information can be left anonymously.
