A PILOT scheme to keep an eye on elderly and vulnerable people is going to be trialled in Kings Worthy and Headbourne Worthy.
It asks local postmen and women to report any concerns they may have for residents to the relevant Neighbourhood Watch co-ordinator.
Kings Worthy Parish Council said in its latest newsletter that as the postmen and women visit most houses six days a week they are ideally suited to spot any signs, such as overflowing letter boxes.
The scheme will also be trialled in Micheldever.
