ORGANISERS of an open air performance in Itchen Abbas are thrilled after raising £12,250 for charity.
The Southwood Players staged comedy, Relative Values, from July 2-5 in the garden of Southwood House in aid of Multiple Sclerosis Society, Pelican Foundation for Cancer Research, Itchen Valley Churches and Winchester Cathedral Girls’ Choir.
Nick Owen, one of the organisers said: “We raised £12,250 and counting. We had over 400 people in total and I think it went really well.”
There was an online auction to boost fundraising which offered weeks away to Dorset and Cornwall.
