PARENTS and their children in Colden Common have been thanked for their generosity following the success of an annual fayre.
The Colden Common Primary School Sing Song Summer Fayre raised nearly £4,000 at the event on Saturday (June 21).
Parish Council clerk, Debbie Harding, said: “The Colden Common School Association is pleased to be able to report that the Sing Song Summer Fayre fundraising total is creeping towards £4,000. Thank you for supporting the CCSA and the school and thank you to everyone who contributed towards this great team effort.”
The day saw scores of teachers, parents and children come together to take part in the “big sing”. There was also a bouncy castle, eco greenhouse, a lego robotics workshop, a bottle tombola, crazy golf and a range of other attractions.
