OWSLEBURY residents are being urged to take extra care in the forthcoming weeks as two events will push extra traffic onto the roads.
On Sunday, July 6, the Sotonia Cycling Club sets off from the parish hall with around 60 competitor from 10am.
The race is expected to end by 12.45pm and the race involves eight laps from Longwood Road, to Belmore Lane and the Milbury’s pub crossroads, near Kilmeston.
Then on Wednesday, July 9, members of the Eastleigh Running Club will be setting off from Marwell Wildlife car park.
The RR10 league is a series of races organised by running clubs in the south-west and includes a four – five mile off-road track.
