CHILDREN, parents and teachers alike are in for a special treat when the circus comes to town.

Clowns, jugglers, acrobats and stilt walkers from Cirque Normandie are putting on a special performance at Four Marks School on Saturday, April 26.

The show kicks off at 11am, with an afternoon performance of 3pm, and there will be face painting, tattoos, children’s and adult’s tombolas, a wide range of stalls selling sweets, toffee apples, cakes, a Pimms tent and various other refreshments.

Pupils of the school will also have the chance to learn some of the circus skills at a specialist workshop.

Gates open at 10am and close at 5.30pm. Tickets cost £10 each with a 10 per cent discount for families of four or more (maximum of two adults). All proceeds raised will go towards the school children.
