This included a report from police.
PSCO Ralph Akehurst told councillors that he and his colleagues were greatly concerned about the number of counterfeit £20 notes that were in circulation.
He said shops in Bishop's Waltham, as well as outlets in Havant and Fareham had reported the fake money and handed the suspect notes over to police at Winchester.
PSCO Akehurst said officers were trying to track the culprits through CCTV footage.
"The ink on the forgeries is quite dark and they are quite easy to spot," he said.
PCSO Akehurst also reported that there had been some criminal damage around the town, which he and his colleagues put down to rowdy revellers after the pubs had closed.
He said there was nothing too much to worry about, but wing mirrors had been pulled off some cars in the Claylands Road and Blanchards Close areas which police were looking into.
Councillors also agreed several community grants tonight.
Bishop's Waltham Chamber of Trade and Commerce received £4,000 to help with the cost of the town's Christmas lights; St Peter's Parochial Church Council was awarded £1,600 for grass cutting; Bishop's Waltham in Bloom got £1,600; Bishop's Waltham Festival received £1,750 to put towards the youth section of the event and the Thursday Lunch Club, which meets at the Jubilee Hall, got £240 to go towards a day out for its elderly members.
Also at the meeting outgoing chairman David McLean, who was at the helm for two years, thanked his colleagues for their support during his tenure.
"We have not always agreed on everything, but everyone has put their backs into what they have done. They have worked hard and carried issues with a lot of enthusiasm and they love Bishop's Waltham, which is why we all do this."
While stepping down as chairman, Cllr McLean will remain on the authority.
