A MOTOR cyclist was killed in an accident with a car outside a Hampshire town last night (Friday May 2).
Peter Cope, 39, from Alton, suffered fatal head injuries when he was in collision with a car on the Alresford-Kings Worthy Road near the ladycroft crossroads shortly after 6pm.
The 46-year-old woman driver of a Toyota car, from Ropley, was treated for shock at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.

The road was road was closed for four hours while police carried out an investigation into the circumstances of the crash, which has been codenamed Operation Kenya.
