FORMER boss of Southampton FC, Dave Merrington, was the special guest at a Winchester Family Church event.
He came to a breakfast meeting held at the Middle Brook Centre in Middle Brook Street on Saturday (March 13).
Members of the church were able to chat to him about his own experiences as a Christian in football.
The family church, which is based at Stanmore Lane in Stanmore, is now gearing up to welcome another special guest.
Mountaineer Bear Grylls is due to give a talk about his faith and adventures at the Middle Brook Centre on Friday, April 23.
