IT is not SW19 but PO17 and the home of the newly formed Wickham Community Tennis Club.
Its two courts were officially opened at Wickham Recreation Ground on Saturday (March 31).
Both are floodlit and their construction was funded by Wickham Parish Council. The open spaces fund at Winchester City Council was also used to deliver the scheme, along with a grant from the Lawn Tennis Association.
The opening ceremony featured coaching sessions for adults and children, along with an exhibition game.
The official opening was performed by Cllr Angela Clear, who chairs the parish council.
The new club already has more than 160 members, including 50 juniors.
